Will four new but familiar faces move to Summer Bay soon? Little Mix earlier confessed their love for the hit drama “Home and Away.” Will the British girl group really join the Australian soap’s cast?
According to Daily Mail, the girls of Little Mix are big fans of the long-running series. They would also not pass up the chance to join the show if the producers would have them. “We would love to do a cameo,” Jade Thirlwall told the Daily Telegraph. The show’s producers have yet to confirm if they would write a part for the girls. But Thirlwall assured, “[if we] were asked…absolutely.”
Thirlwall and her bandmates landed Down Under earlier last week. They were in Australia as part of their “Get Weird” world tour. “Home and Away” has always been special to the girls. One of their members, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, was even named after a character from the series.
Jesy Nelson, meanwhile, opened up about the pressures that come with their rising popularity. “Sometimes you can end up feeling like you don’t have a life because you don’t want to go out because you’re constantly getting hounded,” Nelson said. “But we’re lucky we’re not at that stage where we can’t walk out the door.”
Perrie Edwards, on the other hand, confessed how impressed she was with the calibre of men they have seen in Australia. “I am obsessed with surfer boys,” Edwards told Daily Telegraph. “Any hot surfer guys, Australia is the place for men.”
Last week, the girls took to the stage at the Brisbane Convention Centre on Thursday and the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on Friday. Little Mix first gained popularity in 2011 after they won the British version of “The X Factor.” They were the first group to ever win the reality singing competition.
