‘Home and Away’ 2016: Kat Faces Charlotte’s Killer!

Home and Away

The wait is almost over – Charlotte King‘s killer will be revealed very soon in “Home and Away.”

Fans of the longest-running Aussie soap have been waiting since last year to know who shot Charlotte. According to DigitalSpy, Australian viewers will finally know who killed Charlotte,  but fans in the UK will have to wait for a while.

Policewoman Kat Chapman (Pia Miller) will finally find out who killed Charlotte. However, there is a shocking twist in the story, she knew the murder very well, DigitalSpy wrote.

In an interview with TV Week, Miller hinted that Kat knew the person that killed Charlotte very well.

“In the back of her mind, Kat feels it’s her obligation as a resident of Summer Bay. She feels meeting them down there will help with her interrogation. She wants justice and this case is finally going to be closed,” Miller said.

“Because of her relationship with the killer – and the evidence she holds – she feels she has them cornered. She is 100% ready for this confrontation. It’s the moment she’s been waiting for,” she hinted.

Chapman will put all her efforts to catch the killer but her investigation will have startling results. Kat will arrange to meet the killer at the pier – the very same spot where Charlotte’s body was found.

Since Charlotte was shot dead during their season finale last year, several suspects were named and arrests were also made. But no one was found guilty of shooting Charlotte.

Meanwhile, another shocking “Home and Away” episode awaits fans in the coming weeks and two characters are about to die.

An explosion at the park will rock Summer Bay. Channel 7 released a trailer that gave a sneak peek of the upcoming carnage and it confirmed that two characters will be dead. The identities of the characters remain under wrap.

Bonnie Sveen, who played Ricky Sharpe, and Tai Hara, who portrayed Andy Barrett, have confirmed that they are leaving the show.  Could they be the victims of the explosion?

“Home and Away” airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 in the UK, and Monday to Thursday at 7pm on Network Seven in Australia.
