What else is better than having an album that features Harry Styles, Sia and Steve Tyler and probably one Direction as well? Harry Styles launching his own solo album very soon!
Hollywood Life reported that the One Direction member wants all the best for his solo album and to make this happen he intends to collaborate with only the biggest names in the music industry. His list apparently includes Sia and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
“At the end of the day, the best idea and the best song wins. And for the songs he doesn’t write himself he would love to collaborate with powerhouses like Sia, Steven Tyler and even the guys from One Direction,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
There is no official confirmation as of yet if any of the above-mentioned names will be on Styles’ album.
Billboard earlier reported that Styles has just recently signed a recording contract with Columbia Records, the same label behind his group 1D. The details of the deal are not yet disclosed nor the timeline for a solo album.
Mail Online, however, noted that even when Styles still with 1D, he has been working on solo material already. He had registered four songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers so far, the publication wrote.
The singer is also busy filming his first movie role in World War II drama, “Dunkirk,” of Christopher Nolan. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on July 21, 2017. There were also reports that the 22-year-old singer already landed his second movie stint and will portray The Rolling Stones’ frontman Mick Jagger.
Styles and his bandmates – Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan – took an indefinite hiatus earlier this year following the release of their fifth studio album.
The band’s mentor, Simon Cowell, earlier hinted that there will be One Direction reunion.
In an interview with E! News, Cowell has expressed confidence that 1D will get back together, but he the music mogul just cannot say for sure when it will happen. When asked if the group will ever work together again, Cowell replied: “Eventually, I think, yeah.”
