Gucci Mane was finally freed after three years in federal prison due to drug and gun charges as well as disorderly conduct. Upon his release, avid fans celebrated and were excited to hear his music once again.

Billboard reported that the iconic Atlanta rapper exited prison four months earlier than the exact number of months of imprisonment based from the judgment.

The 36-year-old rapper received a 39-month imprisonment right after a bizarre multi-day Twitter tirade on September 13, 2013.

Aside from drug and gun possession, the “Traphouse 3” singer was involved in disorderly conduct, Hollywood Life mentioned.

The singer’s lawyer, Drew Findling, said that they filed for motion to the court to reduce the prison time to six months’ imprisonment seven months ago. After it was reduced, the rapper was finally released today.

Gucci Mane will be spending his time being advised in home confinement. However, upon transition to supervised release, he will be under federal probation, Findling added.

Right after his probation, the iconic Atlanta rapper will start recording his music again. This time, he will be doing it outside the bars.

Even before he was released, his love for music didn’t stop. He continued recording some of the finest music while he was in prison.

In fact, he was able to do several collaborations with rappers like Migos, Young Thug, Rich the Kid and Peewee Longway. Aside from that, he did several mix tapes.

The rapper’s back-to-business condition was revealed when his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir, shared a Snapchat pic with him while holding hands.

Gucci Mane also showed his prison chiseled abs to his fans, which was also another surprising fact. Everyone considered it a miracle.

Due to the uncontrollable emotions by fans, they planned to record a “Gucci Free” mix tape as their tribute to the rapper’s prison release.

Another update was given out by BLUNTIQ. His most recent tweet showed the rapper thinking while in a recording studio. The tweet said Gucci Mane has already started recording his music.
