“Guardians of the Galaxy 3” is reportedly confirmed and Marvel Cinematic Universe head Kevin Feige allegedly stated that they are now “working on it.”
“We’re only working on what’s been announced through the end of 2019,” Feige said. “And it is still a big chess board for 2020 and beyond, but certainly I would say ‘Guardians 3’ is [one film that’s] up there. I don’t know what exactly the order will be.”
On the other hand, We Got This Covered noted that director James Gunn wants to focus on bringing the “Guardians” sequel into perfection before actually digging into “Guardians of the Galaxy 3.” The second motion picture is currently in production and is set to be out in cinemas next year.
“I’m not sure what I’m going to do after this… Marvel has talked to me about continuing on. I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do or if that’s not what I want to do,” the director said, quotes Den of Geek.
“I really just want to make ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ the greatest possible movie that I can, and something that’s as honest and sincere and true as it can possibly be,” Gunn concluded.
We Got This Covered concluded that it is likely that MCU will be having a definite go signal if Vol. 2 will be victorious. But it is already anticipated that the upcoming film will bag enormous profit from the box office, but still, avid fans might still need to wait for further confirmation.
