The latest reports about “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” reveals that director James Gunn allegedly said that the Marvel film has no human protagonist. So, how about Peter Quill?

The director must have been misunderstood about his response during a Facebook Q&A. According to Comicbook, one follower asked if Deadpool will have a cameo, in which he answered that it is impossible since the other film was owned by Fox.

Suddenly, he added that “and also there are no humans in ‘Guardians Volume 2’, basically. No main char–” then he cut his statement. Soon after that, Gunn made himself clear by saying that “for the record, I meant to say no primary human characters besides Peter Quill. Despite his mysterious heritage, I think of him as human.”

Prior to that, the website noted that Peter Quill (played by Chris Pratt) might have an alien origin as seen on his DNA while Kurt Russell could be portraying a different character than being human. On the other hand, another rumour has it the “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” will have some scenes on Earth so a human character could be essential but the claim is still unproven.

More than that, What Culture also reported other revelations from Gunn’s Facebook post. As per report, Tyler Bates is back for the Awesome Mix Vol. 2. More than that, he also said that there will be np “toilet humour” on the sequel.

He was also asked if there would be a “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” and “Avengers: Infinity War” crossover which he allegedly said that he is not sure yet. But, there could be a small chance that Peter Quill will have a cameo but this might be treated with a grain of salt as of now.

There are many speculations about the upcoming film but avid “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” still have to wait until May 5, 2017, to look out for the confirmations.
