‘GTA 5 Online’ Update: Heists Double Rewards Revealed; Graphic Issues Fixed

Rockstar Games has confirmed that “GTA 5 Online” is back in business and in-game issues have been addressed.

After releasing update 1.28 for “Grand Theft Auto 5”, gamers have been complaining about a drop in the game’s graphic performance, specifically the framerate on the PC Version.

According to an official announcement on the game’s support website, the developers have resolved the issues with the game update and PC gamers can now re-download the update.

“This issue has now been resolved with a Title Update. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet at boot to download and install the update,” Rockstar confirmed.

However, it also confirmed that gamers using Story Mode with mods could experience “decreased performance” after installing the title update.

“As mentioned previously, we are not actively targeting players using mods in Story Mode, nor are we explicitly implementing protections against them in-game,” the developers explained.

“However, as a reminder, mods are still unauthorized and as such, Title Updates may cause Story Mode mods to behave in unexpected ways because they are not supported or tested, and players run them at their own risk.”

Rockstar revealed that while they do not discourage the use of in-game mods for “GTA V”, they are after modifications that may give gamers ”an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing.”

Aside from the PC update, the devs also confirmed that “GTA 5 Online” will offer double rewards and GTA cash payouts for the Humane Labs Heist.

The bonus will run from Monday to Sunday (July 26) and will also include Heist’s Elite Challenges, Gamespot notes.

The site added that several GTA Online activities will also be increasing RP rewards to help gamers level up faster. These activities include:

• Plane Takedown

• Flight School

• Destroy Vehicle Targets

• Complete a Gang Attack

• Deliver an Export Vehicle to Simeon

• Parachuting

• Deathmatch: Kill 2 Enemies Within 10 seconds, Kill an Enemy Within First 30 seconds

• Vehicle Deathmatch: Kill 2 Enemies Within 10 seconds of Each Other, Kill an Enemy Within First 60 seconds, Get a Killstreak, Get First Kill
