Its gonna be Christmas in September for “Grand Theft Auto” fans as they could expect more from the upcoming “GTA 5 Online” update.
The update reportedly include a new feature that allows gamers to change the gender of their character.
Twitter user @TezFunz2 hinted about some changes in “GTA 5 Online” gameplay content. He tweeted, “Once the next update hits the platforms, @RockstarSupport agents can offer a gender change even if it’s a request.”
The tipster also suggested that the “DLCPacks4 folder” will be inclusive of Rockstar Editor and new DLC weighing 150MB.
According to the International Business Times, the character gender-changing feature allows players to undertake cosmetic surgery to change appearances or undergo gender changes for their main game characters in GTA Online.
The next update is likely to add the new sex-change feature in the form of a DLC add-on, iBT noted.
iBT also cited YouTuber MrBossFTW who stated the supposed September DLC release for GTA 5 is coming sooner than expected.
Ross explained on his Youtube video that the next DLC is almost ready and on the verge of being released, as hinted by the GTA 5 tipster @TezFunz2 in another tweet.
It has been reported that the DLC update would arrive sometime this month. The update will include the Rockstar Edition and will be part of the next downloadable update for “GTA 5” and “GTA Online” for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
At the time, Rockstar wrote on website, “The upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms – so the creative competition will be fiercer than ever.”
The Rockstar Editor was first released in April 2015 for the PC consoles.
The upcoming update will feature new set of creative set of tools, including a Director Mode which allows users to arrange sequences using characters, props, and locations from the game.
