As Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 returns on ABC, a sneak peak of the new episode teased how Alex has been shamed by his new boss Tamir played by Ravi Patel. The start of the preview shows Alex asking Tamir to take a leave for an hour when they were preparing for the day at the Denny Duquette Clinic.
In an article by Melty, the ‘Falling Slowly’ episode challenged Alex to deal with his new supervisor when asked to take a leave. His boss answered sarcastically.
“I know you consider this grunt work Dr. Karev, and I’m sure you’re not used to taking orders from a nurse,” Tamir tells Alex.

Apparently, Alex’ response made the supervisor cringe as it is their second Thursday and vaccination day. The clinic will be flooded by hundreds of patients and it’s not a good time to take a leave.
Grey’s Anatomy would always have guest stars that would give the main group of surgeons some humility lessons, and the new boss isn’t going to be an exception.
“[Our patients] can’t be rescheduled like elective surgeries. They need you here and so do I. The answer’s no,” Tamir added. He even said that Alex must figure out his own schedule.
Aside from Alex dealing with the new boss, Jackson and April deal with their new life and baby. Meanwhile, Meredith played by Ellen Pompeo and Nathan played by Martin Henderson discuss their relationship.
In a report by Variety, there’s a star coming back to the show, and it’s Tessa Ferrer who plays the character of Leah Murphy returning for the 13th season. For those who watched the previous season, she was romantically linked to Arizona who just divorced Callie. Definitely, Leah has something to do with it.
However, ABC keeps their silence with Leah’s storyline but as the show airs, fans are able to connect the dots. Fans should not miss the big changes and revelations.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 13, Episode 4, ‘Falling Slowly’ airs on Thursday, October 13, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
