Justin Bieber can now officially be called “Grammy Winning Artist.” This was after the pop star won his first Grammy Award this 2016.

The Canadian superstar won for “Where Are Ü Now.” The Jack Ü song is a collaboration between him, Skrillex and Diplo. They all won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording.

According to Teen Vogue, the track was “everywhere” last year. But Justin fans didn’t mind. “[It] was one of the greatest songs of the year,” Teen Vogue reported.

Bieber was not able to accept the trophy, though. His win was announced before the main event. A total of 83 awards will be awarded tonight. The Academy needed to start its announcements earlier.

The “Never Say Never” singer was still ecstatic, though. He took to Twitter to express his gratitude.

He also gave a shout out to his Beliebers.

Still, no one was more ecstatic than his fans. According to People, Beliebers had a “collective meltdown” on social media after the announcement. Fans were abusing all-caps and cryface gifs in their posts. Some were even actually crying.

According to Vanity Fair, Bieber will perform “Where Are Ü Now” at the Grammys tonight.

This is the singer’s first Grammy. He was previously nominated in 2011. He was cited for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for “My World 2.0.” However, he lost.

MTV previously speculated that this might be Justin’s “second chance” at the Grammys. With his win, it surely was.

Skrillex and Diplo also worked with Bieber in his latest album, “Purpose.” For this year’s Grammys, only albums released between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015 will be taken into consideration. “Purpose” was released in November, 2015.

Do you think Bieber has a shot of winning another Grammy with “Love Yourself” or “Sorry?” Or do you think he can even win Album of the Year? Stay tuned for updates.
