The model and actress Emily Ratajkowski was invited to the White House on the occasion of White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington D.C on Friday. The guests of the art show Creative Coalition’s Night Before Dinner on Capitol Hill included many other elite celebrities. The actor candidly revealed to media about her “disheartening” visit.
The aim of the show was to honor and celebrate the American arts. Ratajkowski told People that this was her first visit to the Capitol Hill and it was disheartening for her to see people present in the event who did not “feel” anything about the cause. They did not want to make any change in the society.
Whereas the enthusiastic actress filled with energy to make a difference took on the Instagram to spread her message to the world. “Hitting The Hill advocating for the public funding of arts today,” the 24-year-old London born American actress wrote.
Love Somebody star had her childhood filled with arts, her dad kept funding for the arts while she was in school. The actress believes that opportunity is essential in Arts and people should not be devoid of it. Emily was joined by many other elite celebrities who were in the event to support the cause. The list included Neve Campbell, Rosario Dawson and Lisa Edelstein.
The Model wooed everyone on the Red Carpet with her stunning White Dress that included white trousers along with white trailing top. Other actresses who chose to wear the white dress on the red carpet were Nina Dobrev, AnnaLynne McCord, Daily Mail reports.
The 24-year-old actress can relatively be called a newcomer to the industry. She made her debut in 2014 film Gone Girl.
