Gold futures were lower during the U.S.A. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for April delivery traded at 1200.20 US dollars per troy ounce at time of writing, 0.35% down.
It earlier traded at a session low 1197.80 dollars per troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at 1194.60 dollars and resistance at $ 1223.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the dollar against a basket of six other major currencies followed, rose 0.56% to trade at $ 95.99.
Elsewhere on the Comex, silver for May delivery fell 0.79% to trade at $ 16.168 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 0.14% to trade at $ 2.660 per pound.
