The Gilmore Girls reboot revealed its premiere date and offered a sneak peek at Lorelai and Rory to date. However, would it answer the question on everyone’s minds?
Finally, the Gilmore Girls reboot will premiere on November 25. No doubt fans will mark that date on their calendars and count the days until then. Fans are not the only ones happy for the show’s return. Evidently, even the cast are in high spirits. Early on, Lorelai Gilmore played by Lauren Graham, could not contain her excitement. She even crossed over from the set to the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about it. Sookie, played by Ghostbusters actress, Melissa McCarthy even hinted at more episodes after the four seasons of the revival.
Yet more than anything else on the Gilmore Girls reboot, fans want to find out whom Rory would choose. Incidentally, the three key men in her past are back in her life. Thus, fans get to Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), and Logan (Matt Czuchry) again.
However, it would seem the choices for Rory this time around is limited to Jess or Logan. This bit of information came from actor Jared Padalecki who talked about his role in the Gilmore Girls reboot. As it turns out, he only had a day to shoot for his character’s appearance, according to US Weekly. While this might disappoint fans, Padalecki is certain they will understand and be content with the outcome.
“It was fun. I wanted to be a bigger part — I think they wanted me to be a bigger part of it as well. But it was shot during Supernatural, so I only did one day. But in that one day, it was a really good amount of stuff I got to do, and explained a lot,” Padalecki explained.
