The “Ghostbusters” 2016 reboot shows off the first pic of its new receptionist, Kevin, at headquarters. Chris Hemsworth steps into the role originally played by Annie Potts.

Zap2it called the look a “perfect mix of adorkable and sexy.” It also noted fans reactions to Hemsworth’s look in the ‘Ghostbusters’ 2016 reboot.

As E described Hemsworth, “He sports a short sleeve, light printed collared shirt, black vest, red tie and horn-rimmed glasses and sits behind the Ghostbusters’ receptionist’s desk, on which lie a computer, phone and a porkpie hat.”

GQ also commented on Hemsworth’s physical transformation for the role and noted, “You can slap some glasses on him, but it still looks like he just emerged from the Tasman Sea ready to rescue someone.”

The actor is highly recognised for his role as Thor who wields a mighty hammer and sports rippling muscles.

Mamamia remarked, “I love that an actor who is known for trading on his body, his looks and his masculinity, has taken a supporting role in a film that’s set to show women suiting up and kicking ass on the big screen.”

His physical transformation for “Ghostbusters” 2016 reboot is not as severe as what he did for his movie “Heart of the Sea.” The actor even tweeted a pic of himself.

For “Heart of the Sea,” Hemsworth lost a significant amount of weight. E cites the actor’s interview with Men’s Health.

Hemsworth revealed his diet for the movie consisted of “one hard-boiled egg, celery and a couple of crackers.”

Earlier news hinted Hemsworth joining the cast for the reboot that features an all-female team of ghostbusters. The female leads include Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Director Paul Feig posted this on his Twitter account last year.

Hemsworth starred in another comedy movie, “Vacation.” Meanwhile, “The Huntsman,” a sequel to “Snow White and The Huntsman,” arrives in theaters April 2016.
