Even though they have been involved with other partners, Michaela and Asher can’t seem to fight their feelings for each other and they ended hooking up inside the bathroom, Design & Trend reports.
Asher (Matt McGorry) was previously linked with Bonnie (Liza Weil) and Michaela was having and affair with Caleb (Kendrick Sampson). Caleb later took his own life during the final episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” and Michaela had to deal with the tragic situation.
But just because the suicide incident happened, that doesn’t mean that Asher and Michaela will stop seeing each other in the upcoming episodes of “How to Get Away with Murder.”
“How to Get Away with Murder” executive producer, Pete Nowalk explained the Michaela-Asher affair in an interview with TV Line.
“I think it’s fun. I really understand how these young people who have been living in a powder keg would grasp at each other,” he said. “Michaela is going to have to deal with the fact that she just found out another guy she trusted, Caleb, was a crazy, freaking sociopath, so it makes sense to me why she might just want to choose a simple guy.”
Pete Nowalk also discussed this complicated story with Entertainment Weekly. According to Nowalk, Asher is a “healthy choice” for both Bonnie and Michaela especially taking into consideration their negative history with men.
Asher, on the other hand, is the type who won’t hide his emotions and is also an affectionate man who has a lot of love to offer for women. These traits make him an ideal security blanket for both Bonnie and Michaela.
“How to Get Away with Murder” season 3 will premiere on ABC later this year.
