The creator of “Gears of War,” Epic, has now released a new trailer detailing gameplay, characters, and abilities. As per the Gamespot, the very first footage of its new MOBA Paragon was launched the previous year in December.
“Gears of War” is a video game franchise created by Epic Games, developed and managed by The Coalition, and owned and published by Microsoft Studios. The series focuses on the conflict between humanity, the subterranean reptilian hominids known as the Locust Horde, and their mutated counterparts, the Lambent.
The franchise consists of four third-person shooter video games, which has also been supplemented by a comic book series and five novels.
According to the Crossmap, “Gears of War 4” will be released ahead of the scheduled date. Unlike other games “that seems to always push back the release date because of delays encountered”, notes Crossmap, “Gears of War” will be released even before Christmas 2016.
The Game will be released by this Fall.
The “Paragon: New Heroes Gameplay” trailer starts off with several characters amidst a battle. Gamespot quotes, “Characters Gadget and Feng Mao make a push down the middle lane as Rampage shows up to defend and distract, setting up Kallari for an attack. Paragon looks like it’s full of AI creeps, towers, and things blowing up.”
In a recent Interview, executive producer of the game John Wasilczyk says why Epic wants to get into the MOBA genre. He says, “We have a good mix of action gamers and a lot of people who are really passionate about MOBAs on the team.”
“So for us, it was taking the unique MOBA elements that we found to be really unique and really enjoyable and putting our spin on it. A lot of it is leveraging what Epic has done for so long, which is make action games.”
The “Gears of War 4” was first scheduled to release only on Xbox One consoles. But the sources state that “The Unreal Tournament company will open up tests on the PlayStation 4 very soon.”
