“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is still months away from showing on televisions. Yet, speculations about its characters are already out. Could it be possible that Jon Snow has a twin?

Season 5 finale sent the viewers at the edge of their seats when some of Snow’s Nightwatch brothers almost killed him. Thanks to Melisandre who brought him back to life in the beginning of Season 6.

Then, Kit Harington’s character became essential when HBO aired episode 9 that bears the title “The Battle of the Bastards” that showed his battle with the savage Bolton Ramsay.

But it looks like Jon Snow will become once again the talk of the town when Season 7 comes. According to The Week, the theory about him having a twin becomes stronger.

Remember Meera Reed from Season 2? Fans brought up the “Meera Theory” again when Season 6 revealed that Lyanna Stark is the real mother of Jon Snow.

Furthermore, the theory has been stronger when Bran saw a vision of Lyanna and Ned Stark. Bran saw her handing a baby to Ned, who is presumed to be Snow.

However, Howland Reed, Meera’s father, was with them as well. Meera is born with the same year as Jon.

But most importantly, the two characters have a striking resemblance, including the features and mostly, the hairstyle.

Moreover, fans are also thinking that Daenerys needs two more allies with Targaryen blood to ride on the three dragon heads to seize the Iron Throne. The show already unveiled that Jon Snow has a Targaryen blood.

As a result, the viewers believe that Meera Reed will complete the slate, should the news be true. On the other hand, there is another compelling theory that his brother is Tyrion Lannister.

According to speculations, Tyrion’s mother, Joanna slept with Aerys Targaryen. Additionally, the final words of Tyrion’s father, Tywin, were: “You’re no son of mine.”

On the other hand, Digital Spy had a chance to talk with Ella Kendrick, who plays Meera Reed and thinks that it must be a lovely idea.

Maybe, the show and its creator George R.R. Martin intends to keep the fans guessing until “Game of Thrones” season 7 and the sixth book “A Song of Ice and Fire” becomes available to the public.
