Game of Thrones Season 7 Casts Harry Potter? Daniel Radcliffe Talks About His Role

Game of Thrones season 7

Could fans of the fantasy series have more reason to look forward to the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere in 2017?

Game of Thrones season 7 fans might be in for a treat. Apparently, a young but very well-known British actor expressed interest to be part of the hit fantasy series. Top on the list of his credentials is the Harry Potter movie franchise. Thus, his talent and popularity could prove beneficial to the show.

Its recent Emmy victory would imply it is doing well on its own. Then again, Daniel Radcliffe’s eagerness to join if only to die violently in a single episode could be worth watching. However, would showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff consider his offer?

Nevertheless, it is interesting to note their earlier casting of Jim Broadbent for Game of Thrones season 7, according to Cinema Blend. Thus, it might not be too far off to consider a possible role for another Harry Potter alumnus. Moreover, they need not worry about creating a full-time character for him. As it turns out, Daniel Radcliffe is not yet up for another major franchise. Hence, a brutal death in the middle of an epic battle appeals to him.

“I would love to. If they want to just bring me in and f**king kill me, I would be so happy to do that. I’ve recently read a couple of really good TV pilot scripts. But then it’s signing on for seven years. Right now, I have a little bit of freedom. So if I read a script for something that’s filming next year, I don’t have to turn it down because I’m not available – which I did, for a long time,” Daniel Radcliffe told Digital Spy.

The actor recently starred in Now You See Me 2. However, fans did not seem impressed by his role in the sequel. Thus, would they welcome him in Game of Thrones season 7?
