The way Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 8 ended last Sunday, it kept a lot of options open. Arya Stark, arguably the most popular character in the series, may be on her way to claim the Iron Throne.
With due respect to the struggle of each member of the Stark family, Arya has seen really tough days. While Sansa has had her share of suffering, she is no warrior. Her tenures with difficult men, especially with Ramsay Bolton, may have made her far tougher than before.
But, if she gets to the Iron Throne, she can only do that by depending on other people. At present, she depends on Jon Snow to win her the Iron Throne.

Jon Snow, on the other hand, is not a proper Stark. Not many are eager to accept “Ned Stark’s bastard” as their king. Even though he has established himself as a true warrior, some theories suggest he may not be a Stark, but a Targaryen. According to Pop Sugar, his father is Rhaegar Targaryen. That makes him the grandson of the Mad King.
Arya, meanwhile, has not only become tougher but got combat training as well. She put off the candle during the fight against The Waif. She used the training from her “blind days” to kill the one who once taught her everything.

Arya is probably the most ruthless character in the present Stark generation in Game of Thrones Season 6. She has killed people in cold blood and never looked back at them. She skinned The Waif and kept her face in the temple, another example of her brutal ways.
Jaqen H’ghar believes he has finally achieved to convert Arya to “No One.” However, Arya was quick to correct him. She shows she is a true Stark and not someone who’ll spend the rest of her life as an anonymous assassin.
Arya has all the courage, determination and intelligence to claim the Iron Throne. The King’s Landing has long been manipulated by Cersei. It may now be waiting for another woman to rule over it. Don’t forget one more woman is waiting in line too: Khaleesi.
“A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell,” she says at the end of Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 8. “And I’m going home.” According to Empire Online, home “means Winterfell.” If Sansa and Jon manage to claim Winterfell, Arya may have an army waiting for her to lead.
