“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke reveals Season 6 of the HBO hit series will be epic.
In an interview with LA Times, the actress revealed that the series’ new season will be one of the bests and her character Daenerys Targaryen will be at the center of it all
“Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It’s mental; it’s epic. And definitely Dany’s a part of it,” Clarke shared.
The actress also added that there is a 50/50 chance that Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) will return in the next season, Time magazine wrote. Snow was killed in the Season 5 finale.
Clarke earlier said she was shocked with Snow’s death. But she teased, “There’s some helpful people there who could bring him on back to life, but if it means that I’m that much closer to getting to the throne then, hey okay,” the Hollywood Life wrote.
Meanwhile, “GoT” received 24 nominations from the 2015 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for Clarke’s portrayal as the mother of dragons, Variety reported.
Clarke revealed that she was at her doctor’s office waiting area when she got the nomination news.
“It was a very embarrassing moment. There’s a lovely British girl waiting in the doctor’s office, and you’ve got the best news ever, and you’re very excited and a bit loud on the phone. All you want to do is just scream and shout, and you have all these people glaring at you thinking, ‘What is that woman on?'” the actress told LA Times.
When asked about her views on the Season 6, Variety quoted Clarke as saying, “I’m looking forward to absolutely every part of it, it’s like go-go-go from episode one.”
“It’s literally like ‘oh yeah, no chance to catch up, here you go, we’re just gonna hit you with it every episode, with something more mental than the last,” she added.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 will debut in 2016 on HBO.
