Photos from the production set of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 have been leaked online.
The images have been posted on Twitter by Dean McLaughlin, a reporter from Northern Ireland.
According to Winter is Coming website, the photos are taken at Binevenagh mountain in Northern Ireland, where scenes of the Vale were filmed for Season 5. The report speculates that the person on a horse may be Petyr Baelish [Aidan Gillen] returning to the Vale.
The photos show some men dressed in dark colors and someone on a horseback. “Game of Thrones” fansite Watchers on the Wall wrote, “Perhaps the man on horseback is Littlefinger, returning to the Vale?”
Watchers on the Wall said the scenes being filmed could be of Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emily Clarke. The actress has been reportedly spotted by some of the fans filming her scenes in the area.
Some “GoT” fans on Twitter reveal the show is filming scenes also involving Daenerys in Magilligan, the same location where the final season 5 scenes featuring Daenerys were shot, the International Business Times wrote.
Meanwhile, some reports point to the possibility that Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) may appear in Season 6.
Snow faced death at the finale of Season 5.
Harington has been spotted in Belfast several times over the last few months during pre-production for Season 6.
IGN reported that “GoT” is currently filming at the Castillo de Zafra in Guadalajara, Spain. The structure bears similarity to a description of the Tower of Joy, which featured flashbacks to King Robert’s Rebellion.
There were speculation that Season 6 will feature a flashback scene at the Tower of Joy where it will be reveal that Snow’s parents are Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is expected to hit small screen in late March or early April next year.
