‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Leak: Jon Snow is Alive!

Fans of the hit HBO show “Game of Thrones” may still be in mourning after the death of a well-loved character in the Season 5 finale, but recent spoilers for the upcoming season may deliver hope.

Cinema Blend reports that Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who was betrayed and apparently stabbed to death by the Night’s Watch, is alive and will be returning to the show’s sixth season. The report gathered the information from the “Game of Thrones” news website Watchers on the Wall.

According to Watchers on the Wall, their sources from Northern Ireland found that a scene was rehearsed involving Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) and Jon Snow himself! The sources further uncovered that the scene is taking place in Winterfell.

From the said report, Huffington Post also relays that considering Jon Snow’s presence in Winterfell, this could only mean that the character “means business with the Boltons.”

Refinery 29 analyzes this new information and relates it to a previous scene that involved an epic battle with Jon, Ramsay, Sansa and a giant. Furthermore, the website suggests that with Jon and Sansa back in Winterfell, the story line for season 6 may involve the two Northerners reclaiming their family’s throne.

In addition, Refinery 29 also reports that actor Kit Harington was spotted wearing a costume that would resemble being kingly. According to the website, Snow claiming the throne in the sixth season will be a good change of pace to see the Starks back in power.

Meanwhile, Independent points out that the presence of Littlefinger/Petyr Baelish in the scene is “ominous, such is his ability to back stab and come out on top at the expense of all others.”

Although this new spoiler may be revealing in terms of Jon Snow’s fate, little is still known on how the Winterfell scene would be significant in the story line of season 6.

An exact premiere date is yet to be revealed but fans can expect “Game of Thrones” Season 6 to be back on air some time in April or May on HBO.
