Two of “Game of Thrones” favorite characters – Khaleesi and Khal Drogo – reunited once more.
GoT stars Emilia Clarke, who plays Khaleesi, and Jason Momoa, who portrayed Drogo, met in Paris for Fashion Week over the weekend.
Drogo and the mother of dragons were husband and wife in season one of the HBO hit series. Momoa’s character met a tragic death in the season finale, leaving his wife Daenerys Targaryen, who passionately called him “my sun and stars.”
The former onscreen couple shared several photos of their reunion on their respective Instagram accounts.
Clarke posted a photo of her while hugging Momoa and captioned it: “Well I guess the sun rises in the west and sets in the east then huh? Paris fashion week just kicked off….! #Momoaloveforlifebaby #nomorebeerleftinparis #bestdresseddothraki.”
Clarke’s caption referred to the line spoken by Khaleesi in season one when she said her goodbye to her husband, the Daily Mail wrote. She cried: “When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, then you shall return to me, my sun and stars.”
Momoa posted a picture of him and Clarke laughing and several other photos of the actress wearing a huge hat. In two photos, he affectionately referred to her as her GoT title – Khaleesi, the Dothraki term for queen.
“Game of Thrones” recently won 12 awards from the Academy Awards for Television, including the outstanding drama series. This makes GoT the most winning series in Emmys history, People magazine wrote.
GoT season six will premiere in April next year.
Meanwhile, 35-year-old Momoa will play Aquaman in the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which is scheduled to be released in cinemas on March 25, 2016. The actor is also set to appear on solo film “Aquaman” and in “The Justice League Part One.”
Clarke, on the other hand, is working on drama “Me Before You.”
