Game of Thrones Season 6: Khal Drogo Returns? Cheers For Khaleesi

Game of Thrones

Is Jason Momoa returning to Game of Thrones Season 6 as Khal Drogo? It appears that Daenarys and Khal Drogo are the realm’s own version of “relationship goals” as the latter cheered on his wife during the season premiere.

Khal Drogo, a.k.a. the love of Daenary’s life, blasted Instagram with a series of supportive messages addressed to his “baby” Daenarys.

In the first episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, Daenarys was taken to the Dothraki village where she met Khal Moro (Joseph Naufahu). When Moro declared his intention to bed Daenarys and take her as his concubine, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea fiercely held her ground and told Moro that she is Khal Drogo’s wife and that she will “bear no children” for Moro or anyone else.

“That’s right baby you tell him,” Momoa wrote on his Instagram in response to the episode, as quoted by Pop Sugar.

In another post, Momoa praised her “baby” for “holding it down.”

But aside from the sweet, nostalgic messages, fans also noticed Momoa write “see you soon” and “see you in Ireland.” Does this mean he’ll be reuniting with the cast and crew to film a scene for Season 6? It’s a possibility.

In season 2, Khal Drogo made an appearance through a vision Daenarys had when she visits the House of the Undying. There’s a chance this could happen again in season 6, especially since Daenarys is back with Drogo’s people and she would need all the help and guidance she could get.

Meanwhile, Jason Momoa is preparing to take on his role as DC Comics superhero Aquaman in a titular film. According to MTV, the King of Atlantis will join Batman, Wonder Woman and the other DC heroes in The Justice League: Part One. A solo Aquaman movie will follow by 2018. Momoa made his first appearance as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Game of Thrones airs every Sunday on HBO.
