Love seems to be blossoming between Brienne and Tormund on the “Game of Thrones.” Or at least, that’s what some fans think so. Rumors have long suggested that the hit HBO series will get a spin-off soon. Will the two possible lovebirds be the subject of that spin-off? Will Brienne and Tormund really get their own movie?

According to Romper, HBO has yet to confirm this movie spin-off. However, the Nerdist did make a trailer for a movie starring the newest love team out of Westeros. The imagined movie, “When Brienne Met Tormund,” was styled as a ’90s romantic comedy. The Nerdist stitched together clips of both characters from previous episodes. “When fate brings them together… can their walls come down?” the trailer’s voice-over asks.

Meanwhile, actress Gwendoline Christie recently revealed she was also a fan of Brienne and Tormund. She said actor Kristofer Hivju was a delight to film with. “First of all, [Hivju] is absolutely hilarious,” Christie told Entertainment Weekly. “I don’t think I’ve been in a scene… when it’s been everything I can do to stop myself from laughing. The way he was behaving toward me was just extraordinary.”

The actress also said she thinks Brienne is “awkward” with the whole situation.”I enjoyed Brienne being put in that position of… not wanting the attention,” she explained. “That was a very fun thing to play. He’s a wildling. He’s very sensual and animal-like and very forthright with his emotions and feelings… which is really the opposite of [Brienne]. I enjoyed trying to navigate that. [I enjoyed] the beauty of her embarrassment. She can totally deal with the situation and with him. But she’s just so embarrassed about it.”

Brienne and Tormund first met in the show’s Season 6, Episode 4. Some devoted “Game of Thrones” fans have been shipping them ever since.
