‘Game of Throne’ Season 6: Jon Snow is Alive! See Photos of Kit Harington South of the Wall

Jon Snow is alive!

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, has been spotted filming “Game of Thrones” scenes over the weekend in a remote hillside outside Belfast, Ireland. This gave “GoT” fans the biggest spoiler yet of what they could expect in the upcoming season.

The Daily Mail posted several photos of the actor wearing his signature full Stark clothes with his sword on his hip. He appeared to be in a conversation with the crew as they gathered around some equipment.

Under the umbrella nearby, a woman can be seen, who may or may not have been Carice van Houten, who plays The Red Witch Lady Melisandre.

Soon after the photos were released, fans speculated that Melisandre may be the one to bring Snow back to life. The Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch appeared to have died in the end of season five after being stabbed by members of the Night’s Watch.

Kit had earlier hinted he may return to the HBO hit drama series in some capacity.

In a recent interview, he said: “The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract … Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over.”

HBO president Michael Lombardo had earlier said Kit’s character is dead. “Dead is dead. He is dead…Yes, everything I’ve seen, heard and read, Jon Snow is indeed dead” Lombardo said.

Fans, however, remained optimistic since the HBO executive also mentioned that GoT may end after season eight. By the time, Kit is 30 years old.

“Game of Thrones” season six will premiere in spring 2016 on HBO.

Meanwhile, Harington will also star in the spy thriller movie, “MI-5.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on the BBC TV series and will also stars Peter Firth, Jennifer Ehle, Tuppence Middleton, and Elyes Gabel.

Saban Films is set to release “MI-5” in cinemas in December.
