In the last episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, Sansa Stark wrote a mysterious letter and sent it off by a raven to an unknown recipient. Now, it seems that someone has deciphered exactly what Sansa wrote.

In Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, Sansa wrote a letter following an argument with Jon Snow on how they didn’t have enough soldiers to take back Winterfell from Ramsay Bolton. However, Jon Snow said that they need to strike pronto as winter is coming and it would bury them all in snow. The war would end before it kicks off.

In an earlier episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, it was shown that Petyr Baelish happens to be hanging around the north now with the army of the Eyrie. Since they have nothing much to do, it can be assumed that Sansa wrote to Littlefinger to ask for aid, notes Gizmodo.

However, a Reddit user named CreepyPancakes has taken more effort by zooming in to decipher what Sansa was actually writing. It goes somewhat like this, “You [promised] to protect me. Now you have [a chance] to fulfill your promise. [The Knights] of the Vale are under your command. Ride [north] for Winterfell. [Lend] us your aid and I shall see to it that you are [rewarded].”

The words in brackets aren’t quite clear in the screenshots but assumed words depict reasonable meaning. The exact verbatim may be incorrect but the sentiment is going to be the same, that is, “swore” for “promised,” “opportunity” for “a chance,” and “the army” or “the soldiers” for “the knights.” It didn’t come as a shock, but it’s great to have a confirmation.
