Everyone wants to pick up a fight with the richest sportsperson in the world. Floyd Mayweather’s net worth has already crossed $400 million as he retired from boxing after his win over Andre Berto on Sep. 12. But Shane Mosley feels otherwise. He still wants to fight Mayweather.

According to SkySports, “Shane Mosley is sure Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will fight again and believes a rematch between the pair would end in his favor.” Mosley and Mayweather have clashed in 2010 though, resulting not in Mosley’s favor. The former three-weight world champion Mosley blames it on the injury back then. But he is confident about a possible bout with Mayweather again.

In a recent interviews with the World Boxing News, the 44 year old “Sugar” insists, “I believe so, I believe Floyd will fight again.” He further sates, “When I fought him I was injured and I think if I fought him again I’d beat him. Even right now, as I’m actually getting better and better, so I want to show people that I can beat anybody.”

“Now that I’m injury free and I can move, do stuff I couldn’t do before maybe because of injuries. I feel a lot better now. I’ve been working during my time off and I feel a lot better. I’m looking phenomenal and I feel great.”

Mayweather who officially announced his retirement after winning against Andre Berto came back to stop fellow veteran Ricardo Mayorga in August.

Speaking about the fight Mosley says, “I definitely believe I could have done a better job than Andre Berto did against Floyd. Andre Berto fought a good fight though and he fought better than I’ve seen him fight. He has a lot of strength and power, but I hit a lot harder than he does – especially at welterweight.”

There are no official statements released from either Mayweather or his agents. It will be interesting to see how Mayweather reacts to Mosley’s statements.
