Fans cannot seem to wait for the official “Finding Dory” trailer to be released. While much have been revealed about the upcoming movie, Dory enthusiasts created some of the best unofficial previews so far. But before that, here’s everything we know about the film.
Not just the fans, but Ellen DeGeneres who voices Dory, is also excited for the animated sequel. The talk show host has been teasing her audience on her self-titled show, sharing bits about her character.
Aside from that, Ellen revealed on the recent Disney’s D23 Expo that she will be bringing back her “infamous skill of speaking whale.”
“They want me to speak whale a lot, which is draining. It’s hard to speak whale, so I speak whale only on occasion,” she said, as quoted by Unreality TV.
“Finding Dory” will be set six months after Marlin and Nemo reunited. The movie will show the adventures of Dory in finding her real parents, Jenny and Charlie, in a marine rehabilitation facility.
Here is the synopsis, as Pixar wrote:
“Finding Dory” reunites the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family along the way,” quotes IMDb.
“Featuring the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, as Dory, Albert Brooks as Marlin, Diane Keaton as Dory’s mom Jenny, Eugene Levy as Dory’s dad Charlie and Ty Burrell as Bailey.”
The film is written and directed by Andrew Stanton, his co-director is Angus Mc Lane.
“Finding Dory” kicks off in theaters on June 17, 2016.
