The website further points out that “Final Fantasy IX” is one of the best “Final Fantasys” ever released so the new feature which enables turning off random encounters is a major plus to the game. The high number in random encounters, according to the website, was the game’s major drawback when it was released.

However, aside from the release of “Final Fantasy IX” on PC, Eurogamer details in one of their articles that the game is also coming out in Android and iOS. Nevertheless, the website made it clear that no date has been given as to when the game will launch in the iOS and Android platforms.

“Final Fantasy IX” was first released on PlayStation back in the year 2000.
