The theatrical release of E.L. James “Fifty Shades Darker” has been slated on February 2017. But latest news revealed that it could be delayed because Jamie Dornan’s wife is pregnant.
Rumors about Amelia Warner being pregnant sparked after some sites revealed photos of her baby bump. The Daily Mail reported to have seen the couple with their daughter Dulcie while shopping in London.
Noticeably, Warner seemed to be having baby bump hidden under her clothes. She was sporting a black-and-white striped blouse, a black long coat, snow boots and black jeans.
Nonetheless, the couple has been mum about the pregnancy rumors, and fans can continue to debate whether Warner is pregnant or not. And should Warner’s pregnancy news be true, it could be a reason for “Fifty Shades Darker” delayed release.
This rumor has been rolling on the web for quite some time now but aside from it, there is also a previous buzz that the delay just might be due to casting problems.
According to Realty Today, Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey, reportedly asked for a longer vacation period so he could bond with his family, now that they are allegedly expecting a new bundle of joy.
More than that, the site stated that the second film might be postponed because Dornan has been asking for a higher talent fee.
However, none of these rumors have been confirmed and the official release of the movie is still scheduled on February 10, 2017.
As for the production team, “House of Cards” director James Foley replaced Sam Taylor Johnson for the direction. Foley will also be the director for the third installment “Fifty Shades Freed.”
Stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are still expected to play the lead of the sequel as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively.
Other characters that might probably join the film are Mrs. Robinsons, Jack Hyde and Leila Williams.
