Updates on the much awaited film “Fifty Shades Darker” has gotten enormous recently. From rumors to speculations and other tidbits have been going around hyping the excitement of those who are eagerly awaiting its release. We have gathered some information related to the movie.
The highly anticipated movie’s new characters Jack Hyde, Leila Williams and Mrs. Robinson/ Elena Lincoln have not been cast, reports Design N Trend.
According to the site, casting announcement might happen before production begins next year.
Notably, there are rumors spreading on the Internet that “Prometheus” actress Charlize Theron and supermodel Cara Delevigne will likely take the roles of Mrs. Robinson and Leila Williams, respectively.
On the other hand, fans are hoping that either “The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder or “Divergent” actor Theo James will play as Jack Hyde.
The only confirmed characters so far are Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey.
We shall wait for further announcement soon.
As for the production team, “House of Cards” director James Foley replaced Sam Taylor Johnson in the helm of the sequel. Johnson reportedly left the film due to misunderstandings she had with the author E.L. James.
Foley will also be the director for the third film “Fifty Shades Freed.” The sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker” will be filmed first prior to the third movie installment.
While nothing much have been revealed regarding the cast and crew, some rumored story line has been circulating on the web as well.
There are possibilities that both of the lead stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan might expose more flesh for the second film. But one thing is for sure, as Dornan told People that he is ready to embody his character once again.
“I’m looking forward to embodying Christian again – and getting a chance to show more of him,” the actor said.
Does that mean Dornan is ready to go full frontal, as some reports suggest? Find out soon!
“Fifty Shades Darker” premieres on Feb. 10, 2017.
