Is “Fifty Shades Darker” lead star Dakota Johnson bored by sex scenes? It looks like the actress is not enjoying the intimate scenes anymore, according to reports.
The actress, who shares sex scenes from Jamie Dornan, reportedly announced that she is “over” the Red Room. “We’re not having actual sex,” the 26-year-old told Chrissie Hynde for Interview magazine. “But I’ve been simulating sex for seven hours straight right now and I’m over it,” Johnson continued.
“It’s not…comfortable. It’s pretty tedious,” she said. While she did not elaborate more of her feelings, the female lead previously revealed on Independent last year how the Red Room brought excitement to her.
“There are some crazy things in there, like certain chairs for certain positions,” she said. “One of them was this tiny little leather chair that looks like that thing when you go to the gynaecologist and put your feet up,” as quoted.
On the other hand, Dornan also revealed that he had “visited a real-life sex dungeon” to research his part as the dominant. “It was a very strange way to spend a Tuesday evening and I probably won’t have many like it,” he said.
“I was sober but they did give me a room temperature beer which I nursed through the experience. It was…an eye-opener.” While the on-screen couple is open to sharing details about their preparation for the sequel, several updates about “Fifty Shades Darker” have been overflowing on the Internet.
On the other hand, Dornan has not confirmed if he will go “Michael Fassbender” on the second installment of the erotic trilogy. Avid “Fifty Shades Darker” fans want him to go full frontal.
“Fifty Shades Darker” premieres in cinemas on Feb. 10, 2017.
