“Fifty Shades Darker” is set for release in 2017. Fans are expecting steamier scenes both from Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. Dornan is also expected to show more skin. However, new reports mentioned that the upcoming sequel might be “more on romance.”
According to Game N Guide, Marcia Gay Harden revealed some film details at the Monte Carlo Film Festival. Though production people are “tight-lipped” on what’s about to happen, she dished some exciting details.
“The second one they fall in love. I think that that’s where E.L. is going – that love can change people. And it can!” she said. Does that mean the movie will have more romance but less hot, steamy scenes? We have yet to wait for details to confirm. The site reported that Harden teased the sequel will have “all erotic element of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
Meanwhile, there have been rumors and unconfirmed reports on Dornan going full frontal. Recent reports revealed that Dornan got $1.5 million to agree to such act. Master Herald noted that Dornan will have “creative control” should he agree to bare it all. Co-star Dakota Johnson believes that he should go for it because “everyone wants to see the D.”
In another news, Melty noted that studio scenes probably already hinted what fans should expect from “Fifty Shades Freed” storyline. According to the site, a Twitter user named Lindsay B is speculated to be part of the Vancouver film crew.
In her latest tweet, she wrote “How about Thursday studio scenes? Sure. Why not? #FiftyShades.” Her latest post included a list of instructions for interior scenes they need to shoot. The main location of the said scene is Christian’s apartment, including the kitchen and living room.
In addition, Melty believes that this scene is already part of “Fifty Shades Freed.”

Does this suggest that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will reprise their roles on “Fifty Shades Freed”? There are rumors that Jamie Dornan and his wife Amelia Warner are on the verge of separation. Meanwhile, reports mentioned that Dakota Johnson and Matthew Hitt separated due to their intense scenes on the film.
“Fifty Shades Darker” will hit the big screen on February 10, 2017.
