“Fifty Shades Darker” star Dakota Johnson has been hoping that the movie will be funny and the two remaining sequels of the trilogy will end soon.
Johnson talked about the experience of filming the last two “Fifty Shades” films and expressed how tired she is doing both movies. The actress told Yahoo! Movies: “It really is a marathon, and I don’t see the end. But hopefully I’ll see it soon! It’s going really well.”
The sequels of “Fifty Shades of Grey” – “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” – are both currently in production. The filming of “Darker” began in February and is now transitioning into the filming of “Freed,” which is the final instalment in the trilogy, Melty wrote.
This is not the first time that the actress complained about filming. In the latest issue of “Interview” magazine, Johnson talked about the dragging sex scenes that she had to do for “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed.”
“It’s not … comfortable. “It’s pretty tedious,” she told the magazine. “Well, we’re not having actual sex. But I’ve been simulating sex for seven hours straight right now, and I’m over it,” Johnson added.
Johnson also noted that the next two adaptations of E.L. James’ novels will not be too dramatic. She said: “We’re trying to figure out all the best ways to level out the emotional aspects of the story, as well as the comedic notes. Hopefully these films will be funny – that’s what I appreciate about them.”
In recently released promotional photos of “Fifty Shades Darker,” Christian Grey was carrying Anastasia Steele in his arms and they are sharing a passionate kiss, Vine Report noted. The photo was captioned: “She’s becoming Anastasia Grey right now.”
The two sequels also star Jamie Dornan, as Christian Grey. “Fifty Shades Darker” will hit theatres on Feb. 10, 2017, while the finale of the trilogy, “Fifty Shades Freed,” will premiere a year after.
