Fifth Harmony Split? Normani Kordei Hints Solo Career

Fifth Harmony

Fifth Harmony has been a successful group after their journey from the “X-Factor.” Despite their prosperous career is the constant rumour that the all-girl quintet will be parting ways soon. It has been reported that Normani Kordei hinted a solo career.

The “Real Powerhouse of 5H” landed on the cover magazine of Cliche, and she had the opportunity to address the question of having her own musical venture in the future.

“In the beginning, we all had intentions of pursuing solo careers. I’m still an individual, as well as the others, meaning we have slightly different visions and aspirations,” Kordei said.

However, Kordei further explained that in order to do that, they need to strive more first and be successful as a group.

“We have a ton of work [to do] and much more to accomplish as Fifth Harmony before that happens,” she added.

That being said, the rumours about her separating from 5H very soon might not be true this time. Meanwhile, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton thinks that she will be more successful once she starts to make her own way to stardom.

Kordei released her own rendition of Tory Lanez’s “Say It” via YouTube. Hilton praised her as saying that she can be compared to Queen Bey.

Aside from Kordei, Camila Cabello has been making headlines because of her solo stint with Shawn Mendes for the song “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” As a previous report noted, this move caused a backlash from the fans.

“They turned me (doing the song) into a conspiracy theory. We literally just wrote a song backstage & it ended up becoming something awesome. It wasn’t a career move that I carefully planned out,” she explained, according to Inquistr.

The Latina also slammed the breakup claims saying that their sophomore album is now underway.
