This must be the second time that Camila Cabello worked out of the group. Could this be the confirmation of the Fifth Harmony split reports?
Her other single with Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Things, debuted on Billboard Top 40. The collaboration climbed from 32 to 20 on Digital Song Sales (30,000 downloads sold, up 77 percent, in the week ending Nov 24, according to Nielsen Music).
According to Billboard, it has 30,000 downloads sold, up 77 percent, in the week ending Nov 24, as per Nielsen Music. Notably, Cabello previously worked with Shawn Mendes for the song I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Some of her fans accused her of calculating her moves for a solo career. However, she said she will not leave Fifth Harmony.
“They turned me (doing the song) into a conspiracy theory,” Cabello said.”We literally just wrote a song backstage & it ended up becoming something awesome. It wasn’t a career move that I carefully planned out,” she explained further.
Cabello also took to Twitter her feelings about the Fifth Harmony split controversy. “There is not enough time in the world to explain yourself to people that already think they know ur intentions… so let it go,” she wrote.
There have been rumors as well that she and co-member Lauren Jauregui are having a discreet feud. After teasing Bad Things on social media, Harmonizers noticed that Jauregui’s mother unfollowed Cabello.
Months ago, Clara Jauregui slammed Cabello’s manager for not recognizing her daughter and the rest of the members for the other two awards at the MMVA’s. Clara might have deleted the post, but she wrote: “Let’s get it right 2 were thanks to @Fifth Harmony Just keeping it real.”
The Fifth Harmony split controversy has been in the news since the group’s success. The all-female girl band just released the song That’s My Girl.
