Fifth Harmony member Dinah Jane Hansen and Normani Kordei showed support for Kehlani by unfollowing Chris Brown on Twitter. The “Royalty” rapper dissed the female artist by posting “nasty” tweets.
According to Seventeen, two of the Fifth Harmony members were joined by another artist Zendaya, with a lot of people who unfollowed Brown after his derogatory comments, saying that Kehlani’s only faking the suicide attempt so she could get sympathy.
“Girls be mad at a n*gga for f*cking around wit b*tches but her DMs got more names then the Declaration of Independence. #YEAHIMTHROWINGSHADE,” reads one of his Twitter posts.
“There is no attempting suicide. Stop flexing for the gram. Doing shit for sympathy so them comments under your pics don’t look so bad,” the rapper’s Twitter rant continued.
The news about Kehlani and her suicide attempt broke out after being accused of cheating on with boyfriend and NBA player Kylie Irving. It all started when his ex-boyfriend, PARTYNEXTDOOR, posted a photo of them together while she is dating the athlete. Fans allegedly went on to believe that she committed infidelity.
Before she deleted her Instagram account, the artist stated that she is in deep depression because of the controversy. USA Today was able to quote her statement before deactivating.
“I wanted to leave this Earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point. But don’t believe the blogs you read. No one was cheated on and I’m not a bad person. Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding,” the first part reads.
“But as of today, I had no wish to see tomorrow. But God saved me for a reason and for that…I must be grateful. Cuz I’m not in Heaven right now for a reason. On that note, bye Instagram,” Kehlani concluded.
While many are puzzled about what happened, the online publication thoroughly assessed the situation by stating that photo might be old, or it could be that the snapshot was taken after she and Irving have broken up. The possibilities are still endless.
However, the basketball star already shared his sympathy to his girlfriend by expressing his opinions on Twitter.
