“Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2 spoilers revealed Daniel’s surprising return after he faked his death in the mansion fire.

Movie News Guide reported that although the audience saw the “Fear The Walking Dead” finale ending with Daniel on fire while in the burning mansion, the makers of the show confirmed he did not actually die.

Dave Erickson and Gale Ann Hurd, the creators of “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2, said that Daniel will still come back in the next season.

However, they were not able to give clear justifications on why they decided to have Daniel’s death faked and have him return in Season 2.

In fact, Entertainment Weekly stated that the audience saw Daniel laying out gasoline all throughout the mansion and being engulfed by flames. He should have been dead.

Aside from Daniel’s mysterious return, “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2 could anticipate Nick’s survival in the infection-ridden world.

According to Movie News Guide, instead of deciding to be with his family, he went among the dead all by himself. No one knew about his real plan.

In the next season, Nick could be seen somewhat out of reality and still believing he won’t die.

Celia, his mother suffering from heroin addiction, embraced the belief of surviving with her son while walking with the dead.

Other characters were concerned for his safety, although Celia insisted on caring for her son.

They said if he continued placing himself in danger like walking with the dead, he could die. Celia claimed that this has been her concern since Nick was still around 14 or 15.

However, they believed she was just compromising Nick’s safety and killing her would be the best option to save his life.

On the other hand, Madison (Kim Dickens), Strand (Colman Domingo), Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) were seen going back to the boat from the “Fear of The Walking Dead” finale episode.

In the second season, everyone is curious about the future of these characters, and whether or not they would arrive at their destination safely.

“Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in August this year on AMC.
