The sudden death of “Fast and Furious” star Paul Walker left the fans heartbroken. As the whole cast and crew paid tribute to the actor on the recent “FF7” film, there are news that “Fast and Furious 8’s” movie plot is Walker’s idea, suggesting that it will be “true to Paul’s wishes.”
According to his co-star Michelle Rodriguez, the eighth movie in the franchise will be a tribute to the late actor.
“[Paul] wanted to bring it back down to the core, which is the racing,” Rodriguez told People. “He was always complaining about the special effects and the blue screens.”
More than that, the actress revealed that Walker wanted to opt out some “exaggerated explosions and crazy plot lines,” and the production team will work its best to make it “true to Paul’s wishes.”
“I think that’s what Vin [Diesel] meant when [he said] his main focus on the next one will be trying to keep it true to that car audience,” she added.
Rodriguez is said to be reprising her role in the upcoming action-adventure movie. Additionally, the actress would like to have more female co-stars.
“It’s a sausage factory on those sets.We could use a little feminine energy to balance it out!” she said.
Additionally, new names have been dropped to join the upcoming movie. Cross Map noted that Dame Helen Mirren and Angelina Jolie-Pitt might be included.
Fans might still have to wait for their confirmation, though.
The FF8 stars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Jason Statham.
The full line-up and movie plot has not been officially announced yet.
“Fast and Furious 8” is slated on Apr. 14 2017
