There are lots of Easter Eggs to hunt down in the most recent addition to the exotic open world shooter series “Far Cry Primal.”
According to GameSpot, a player found a couple of such which are relevant to other Ubisoft games, specifically for “Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon” and “Assassin’s Creed.”
A certain Youtube user, named OniZombies, uploaded two separate videos detailing where the Easter Eggs are located and how they are connected to the other Ubisoft games.
There’s a certain cutscene in “Far Cry Primal” where a character jumps off a cliff and lands safely on a haystack. In the Assassin’s Creed series, the protagonist has a signature move called “Leap of Faith” where the player jumps off a high building but still manages to break the fall with the aid of a nearby collection of hay.
The dive is accompanied by a screech of an eagle which was also featured in the Far Cry cutscene. Compared to Assassin’s Creed, the character from Far Cry Primal does so in a less elegant manner but his jump is closer to the definition of “Leap of Faith” which has something to do with acting blindly.
In a separate video uploaded by OniZombies, he will direct you to the location in a cave where the skeleton of the blood dragon is illuminated by neon. This is in reference to the futuristic yet 80’s style poster of “Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon” where a silhouette of a dragon is seen in the background shooting purple laser beams from its eyes. To confirm the Easter Egg, finding the location of the dragon bones will earn the player the “Mark 4 Wenja” title for being able to discover “the future past.” This is mentioned in a report made by GameZone.
“Far Cry Primal” was released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One last February 23. Microsoft Windows players will be expecting the primitive action adventure video game this coming March 1.
