‘Fallout 4’ Survival Mode Ditched for DLC? Bethesda Warns Diseases & Danger

Bethesda Game Studios teases initial DLC for Fallout 4 will be out soon and the game’s Survival mode might be affected in two separate tweets.

“We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.”

Minutes later, they posted a tweet which fans of the Survival mode should take note of.

“We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.”

As reported in GameSpot, the long wait for DLC is about to end as fans have been expecting since September when the first announcement of such content was made. The news about the first DLC was made even before the actual release of the game, launched two months after. During that time, the American game publisher was uncertain how the expansions would take shape. They were, however, excited to reveal that the DLC will cost $30 only but will deliver a 40$ worth content. Players of the game were also made aware that the first of the many expansions is expected sometime this year.

It is anticipated that five or more additional content for Fallout 4 will be released seeing that Bethesda was able to produce a considerable number of DLC for their previous game Fallout 3. Gamers speculated that the upcoming content will revolve around underwater exploration but still remains to be seen. The studio did confirm that the DLC’s will be revolving around the feedback of the players, as told in Express.

The reason to overhaul the current Survival Mode is because the fans wanted a gameplay in the manner of Fallout: New Vegas. Bethesda was quick to respond to the gamer’s requests by adding mechanics that deal with food, sleep, diseases, danger and a lot more.
