Fallout 4 is one the biggest games in the world. Yet, it is struggling to get its game running well on the consoles. However, Bethesda had found a fix for it and cannot wait to roll out the fixes for the allegedly upgraded PlayStation 4 Neo.
Far Harbor is the first big expansion for the game, but the game does not run well on PS4. Anyway, the company is ready to roll out the update in North America to patch it up. Soon the update will follow in other countries.
It is reported that the add-on pack of open-world adventure does not work well on Sony’s console and it produces a rough frame-rate. Gamers playing it reported that it shows a choppy, unsightly image. The foggy areas of the Far Harbor often caused dips down to 15 frames per second, according to tech investigators at Digital Foundry. The video below shows how ugly that looks.
It would not be less to say that in the $99.6 billion gaming industry, Fallout 4 is continually one of the most played releases, as per the data from the Steam digital distribution portal.
Although Bethesda has done the work to fix it, gamers will have to follow some instructions to ensure you get the update.
Now, Bethesda has unleashed the update in North America, and gamers will have to follow some simple steps to avail it:
In order to install the update, users will have to ensure that Fallout 4 is closed. For this, you can hover over the game and press the Options button on your controller, and select “Close application” if it’s available, notes VentureBeat.
After which, users can go to the Fallout 4 icon again on their PS4 dashboard. Now press the Options buttons again and select the “Related items” menu.
Then select “My Add-ons.”
Now, find the Far Harbor DLC, click on the arrow right next to it. This will download the newest version of the update.
