The Euro 2016 Round of 16 schedule has been determined. The last 16 countries standing will play against each other for a spot in the quarterfinals. Matches will begin on Saturday, June 25 until Monday, June 27.

For the first day of Round of 16, 6 nations will play in the knockout stage all over France. Here are the Euro 2016 Round of 16 Schedule for all three days.

Euro 2016 Round of 16: Day 1

  • Match 1: Switzerland v Poland – Saturday 25 June, 3:00PM CET (Saturday 25 June, 11:00PM NSW) at the Saint-Etienne
  • Match 2: Wales v Northern Ireland – Saturday 25 June, 18:00 (Sunday, 26 June, 2:00AM NSW) in Paris

The first day will be started by group runners-up Switzerland and Poland. Meanwhile, group stage winner Wales will face third runner-up Northern Ireland. Last but not the least, group stage winner Croatia will have to prove their might against Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo.

  • Match 4: France v Republic of Ireland – Sunday 26 June, 15:00 (Sunday, 26 June, 11:ooPM NSW) in Lyon
  • Match 5: Germany v Slovakia – Sunday 26 June, 18:00 (Monday, 27 June, 2:00AM NSW) in Lille
  • Match 6: Hungary v Belgium – Sunday 26 June, 21:00 (Monday, 27 June 5:00AM NSW) in Toulouse

The second day will be headlined by the host country, France, against third-place winners Republic of Ireland. Euro favorites and group winner Germany will play against third place Slovakia. Group stage winner Hungary facing group runner-up Belgium is slated to play last for day 2.

  • Match 7: Italy v Spain – Monday 27 June, 18:00 (Tuesday, 28 June 2:00AM NSW) in Saint-Denis
  • Match 8: England v Iceland – Monday 27 June, 21:00 (Tuesday, 28 June 5:00AM NSW) in Nice

The last day of Euro 2016 Round of 16 will feature much awaited 2012 finalists Italy vs Spain. The knockout stage will see either one eliminated from the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the last Round of 16 match will be between group runners-up England and Iceland. Fans and spectators alike will be watching who will win between seasoned England and debutante Iceland.
