Emmys 2015 Red Carpet: 8 Worst Dressed at Awards Night

It’s the Primetime Emmy Awards once again and it’s time for the best stars in television to showcase their courtier gowns and tuxedos.

Each year, it was not only the best dressed celebrities who are being observed at the red carpet. Those who did not met the standard of fashion experts are being eyed as well.

Here are eight of the worst dressed at 2015 Emmys at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

1. Heidi Klum

The “Project Runway” star leads the 2015 list of worst dressed celebrities at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards across several celebrity news sites.  PerezHilton described Klum’s yellow Versace gown like “three unfinished pieces that were sewn together last minute.”

Heidi’s gown did not escape criticisms from social media as well. A Twitter user called her dress a “shower curtain”, while another said, “Heidi Klum’s dress looks like she rolled around on the ground in a chick pen and the feathers stuck to her.”

2. Jaimie Alexander

Her galactic look did not get a nod from fashion experts. San Jose Mercury News wrote her slicked back hair and metallic-colored gown are too cutting edge as well. Alexander stars in NBC’s “Blindspot” which is set to premiere Monday (Sept. 21).

3. Joanna Newsom

San Jose Mercury News said Joana Newsom (Inherit Vice) literally looks like she got ripped open and spawned a garden in this gown.

4. Danielle Brooks

Danielle looks like she’s heading for a Caribbean vacation instead of an awards night.

5. Kathryn Hahn

Hahn’s clashes of fabric wouldn’t have made this gown a hit.

6. Retta

Her pink and white gown looks like she’s a bridesmaid to a wedding that she is going to an awards night.

7. Laura Prepon

The “Orange is the New Black” star look for the night received thumbs down from fashion experts. San Jose Mercury News wrote Prepon looks like she is carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.

8. Claire Danes

The “Homeland” star chain-accentuated gown looks too heavy for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards.
