Fans have been waiting for the Eminem new album 2016 but it was delayed once again allegedly due to a feud with Drake.
Eminem remains mum about the real reason of the delay. This creates more speculations including the reported blood bad with fellow rapper Drizzy. However, the Hotline Bling artist has put an end to the alleged spat between him and Eminem.
The two recently shared the stage during Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour in Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena. He even called Eminem the “greatest rapper of all times.” The Marshall Mathers responded to the compliment by saying that he felt honored to be performing with Drizzy on the same stage.
Eminem and Drake’s performance in Detroit came after several weeks of drama that steamed from an ongoing feud between Drizzy and Joe Budden, Eminem’s frequent collaborator. Drake also hinted at possible more special nights ahead. Detroit Free Press quoted him telling the crowd that by the end of the tour, “Do you think we’ll be able to look back and say: ‘Do you remember that one night in Detroit?'”
Reports also indicated that the highly anticipated Eminem new album 2016 might include a track on Drake. The Berzerk singer reportedly will be having a face-off with Drake in a rap battle.
Meanwhile, Vine Report wrote that the delay in Eminem new album 2016 is due to financial mess. The rapper had only a few tours over the past years. Eminem had only three live performances in 2016, all of which were during the Lollapalooza festivals in Latin America in March.
In addition, Eminem’s ranking on Forbes’ richest celebrities has dropped over time. In fact, his name could not be found on this year’s list. The last studio album from the Slim Shady was released in 2013. His Marshall Mather‘s song Without Me is one of the featured songs in the Suicide Squad soundtrack.
As for Drake, he dropped his latest hit album Views from the 6 in April. The album broke several records. The One Dance track also became the singer’s first Billboard Hot 100 number one single as a lead artist. It spent 10 weeks at number one on the Billboard charts.
