Elder Scrolls 6 release date updates are limited online. As of this writing, there has been no confirmation about the new title’s development, but the hype for the sixth instalment has been crazy these past few months.

Earlier reports shared that Bethesda has not yet decided if they will be working on the new game anytime soon.  As some sources would suggest, until developers are finished with “Fallout 4” updates, they will highly unlikely be in the “Elder Scrolls” territory.

However, some speculations about the game’s release date have started to surface online. As Game N Guide noted, “Bethesda usually releases ‘The Elder Scrolls’ instalments with a four-year interval.”

“If this is to be followed, there is a huge possibility that ‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ will be launched in 2019, especially now that Bethesda has released ‘The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’ in June 2016,” the report added.  While the said rumour is really based on the previous games’ timelines and not on anything factual and concrete, waiting fans remain hopeful.

Apart from the rumoured 2019 “Elder Scrolls 6” release date, fans are also talking about Bethesda’s recent job posting indicating “that it is currently looking for a character artist who has knowledge on role-playing games like ‘The Elder Scrolls.'”  This fueled more speculations that developers are actually planning to start initial work on the title soon.

Other “Elder Scrolls 6” release date rumours are also focusing on Bethesda’s E3 2016 Showcase in June.  Many believe that a very important announcement about the new title could be made at the annual event.

Meanwhile, the new game will reportedly be a continuation of “Skyrim,” with the central location of the game speculated to be in Valenwood where the Thalmor group can be found.  Previous rumours have suggested that Valenwood, Elsweyr or Argonia could be the next game’s focus.
