‘EA Sports UFC 2’ Ronda Rousey Hates Her Own Character? ‘It Weirds Me Out’

The former Bantam Weight Champion doesn’t want to join MMA soon. She has been very popular on the Television screens right now following her performance in “Saturday Night Live” and after featuring in the Sports Illustrated’s cover shoot.

Ronda Rousey doesn’t want to fight anytime soon. In fact, as per the MMA Junkie reports,  she even shares one-half of the cover of “EA Sports UFC 2” with featherweight champ Conor McGregor. But she won’t be using her own character while trying the game.

The source writes that Rousey (12-1 MMA 6-1 UFC) isn’t a fan of playing her “own character” in the game.

“It weirds me out to see myself and play as myself,” Rousey told MMAjunkie. “I’ve never played as myself.”

“I don’t like being not as in control of my body as I should be,” Rousey said. “I don’t know all the buttons to like counter a double (leg takedown) with a Harai goshi. I’d do it in real life, but it’d be really hard (in the game).”

The source also mentions that Ronda is very fond of playing video games and is currently ranked second highest in the women’s 135-pound division behind fellow ex-champ Holly Holm.

The Electronic Arts is all set to launch one of the most anticipated games of the year, “UFC 2”, this Tuesday. “EA Sports UFC 2” is a mixed martial arts fighting video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is based on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brand.

Game Spot also reports that EA Access subscribers can get hold of the game before Tuesday, March 15. The game will available inside the EA Access app on Xbox One.

Players will get the full version of “UFC 2” but the gameplay will be available for only 10 hours. The timer keeps running when the game is on so don’t forget to “fully” close the game  to get the most out of those 10 hours of gameplay.
