Drew Barrymore was seen at Pebble Beach Food & Wine event, a day after announcing the divorce from her husband Will Kopelman. She was supporting her wine brand Barrymore Wines.
Barrymore even appeared in the video promoting the wine. Inside the Grand Tasting tent, the actress was spotted holding a rose and was in a lively spirit.
“Drew is amazing. She has been a friend of the festival for years. In fact, when she launched her wine she did it at Pebble Beach,” David Bernahl, the event founder told the KSBW.
Widely anticipated events on the West Coast,The annual wine & culinary experience involves 7,000 national and international attendees It has the most “riveting brands in the wine space with close to 100 Sommeliers,” Huffington Post reports. “I love rosé (only second to Champagne) so that is fun to see it being produced and appreciated with excellent quality worldwide, Lara Sailor Wong, the executive wine director said about Rose,one of the wines which Barrymore promoted.
While the news featured around her divorce is still developing, the couple got married in 2012 and have two children Olive, 3, and Frankie, 1. In a joint statement,the couple insisted about their children’s importance in their life.”Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority,” they said. Daily Mail reports.
Though the exact reason for the split is unknown, sources say that couple had problem over the staying issue. Drew wanted to live in LA but they had their home on New York’s Upper East Side. Their daughter, Olive, attends the school in New York.
Will Kopelman, who is the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman was “extremely devastated” by the divorce. Though the couple said “Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on.”
