Drake has been invited to join Rihanna in her “Anti” world tour. Can we expect the rapper to release songs from his upcoming album, “Views From the 6,” during the tour?
According to Times Live, Rihanna is “keen” on getting Drake to be part of her world tour. She has reportedly even prepared a private plane for the Canadian singer should he decide to join her.
The pair earlier collaborated on a song from “Anti” called “Work.” They even performed this single in this year’s BRIT Awards. According to the news site, Rihanna seems to have “enjoyed twerking up against her former flame” that night.
”She is determined to recreate some of the buzz that was around for the BRITs,” a source told Times Live. “Rihanna and Drake know that ‘Work’ is one of the highlights of the show and their on-stage chemistry is electric.”
Will Drake accept Rihanna’s offer? Can we expect more “steamy” live performances from the duo? More importantly, will Drake use Rihanna’s stage to debut his new songs?
According to The Verge, “Views From the 6” will be released in April. But a definite date has not been set. “I’ll give you a date later on, just know that we’re working. We’re working,” the rapper earlier said. Drake earlier released a single from “Views.” The rapper debuted “Summer Sixteen” on a radio show earlier this year.
No word as of yet if the “Hotline Bling” rapper will indeed join Rihanna on her tour around the globe. Rihanna, meanwhile, is determined to make her “Anti” tour her best one yet. According to Times Live, Rihanna has even sought the help of top vocal coach RAab Stevenson. ”Rihanna wants to get her set-up straight on the tour opener as RAab can work with her through any problems,” a source reportedly said.
